Implementing activities:
In order to contract of Council of Department of the Affairs of during 2011 it is planning to implement following activities:
1. The implementation of continuance research "Best Practice of Vocational Rehabilitation for People with Movement, Vision, Hearing, Mental Illness and Internal Disease in Europe.
2. The implementation of research "Persons' with Disabilities Motivation for Work, the Situation in the Labor Market and Employment Efficiency of Persons who Have Finished the Vocational Rehabilitation Program" and preparation of suggestions on increasing efficiency of motivation and employment.
3. Preparation of suggestions on creating united system on collecting statistical data for institutions in the field of vocational rehabilitation.
4. Making the plan for 2012 of further tolls for development of vocational rehabilitation services and implementation of further methods, programs seeking to ensure quality of vocational rehabilitation services for people with disabilities;
5. Organization of trainings for specialists working in the field of providing vocational rehabilitation services;
6. Organization of introductory trainings for specialists working in the field of vocational rehabilitation system;
7. Organization of cooperation activities with other vocational rehabilitation providers, employers, employment exchanges, organizations of people with disabilities and other partners;
8. Preparation and pilot testing of methods for vocational assessment and rehabilitation for people with vision and mental illness;
9. Preparation and pilot testing of requests for adaptation vocational training programs to disability;
10. Development of vocational rehabilitation period "Job placement support";
11. Analysis of vocational rehabilitation service providers' activities and preparation of revised recommendations on requirements for vocational rehabilitation providers;
12. Preparation of united requirements for vocational rehabilitation periods description;
13. Preparation of methodology for calculating rates of vocational rehabilitation services;
14. Information dissemination.
Good practice of Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre in the field of vocational rehabilitation, results of implemented researches will be disseminated to other local other vocational rehabilitation providers, vocational rehabilitation funders, planning and controlling institutions, employers and other stakeholders.
