Implemented
During 2010 VRC has implemented following activities:
1. An implementation of the research „Best Practice of Vocational Rehabilitation for People with Movement, Vision, Hearing Disabilities, Mental Illness and Internal Diseases in European Union Countries".
2. An implementation of the research "Situation of People with Movement, Vision, Hearing Disabilities, Mental Illness and Internal Diseases in Labour Market and the Need for Vocational Rehabilitation Services in Lithuania.
3. Preparation of action plan to develop vocational rehabilitation services for people with disabilities.
4. Preparation of competences improving program for vocational rehabilitation specialists and organization of training.
5. Cooperation with other vocational rehabilitation providers.
6. Preparation of measures to ensure the development and implementation of methods and programs for vocational rehabilitation service providers.
7. Development of vocational rehabilitation program "Job placement support".
8. Development of vocational rehabilitation services' quality criteria and evaluation of local vocational rehabilitation providers.
9. Publication and dissemination of information.
Good practice of Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre in the field of vocational rehabilitation, results of implemented researches are being disseminated for other local vocational rehabilitation providers, employers, other stakeholders and the community.
