Quality policy

  • Priority to quality is given in all the spheres of activity of the organisation.
  • Each worker shall be responsible for quality, ethics and protection of information within the sphere of his/her competence pursuant to the documents clearly defining their operational fields and responsibility. 
  • Quality of provided services is improved constantly by evaluating the efficiency of delivered services, improving work organisation and organising permanent qualification upgrading of the staff. 
  • Coherent and open co-operation is sought among all sectors of the institution, the staff, clients and service providers, between the institution and founder and all governmental and non-governmental organisations related to the activity and goals of the organisation.
  • VRC takes all the efforts so as to ensure and retain trust of the clients in our organisation by justifying their expectations in any situation, by observing the equal rights, respect for their personality, human dignity, privacy and religious beliefs.
  • Moral and material stimulation of the staff for work quality and implementation of quality policy and key goals. 
  • Quality Management System is under constant development and is in compliance with LST EN ISO 9001:2008 standard requirements.
  • In view of retaining adequate quality policy and goals, they are reviewed every year.

In December 2008, VRC was awarded with the European social services and rehabilitation quality mark EQUASS Excellence. With EQUASS quality mark is certified 18 organisations providing social and rehabilitation services all over Europe. Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre is the first institution in Lithuania and Eastern Europe awarded with this quality mark for high quality of services.

EQUASS Excellence Quality Certificate is an impartial recognition of quality at European level and compliance of VRC services with the nine EQUASS quality criteria:
